Dim To Warm LED Strip

Description

Dim-To-Warm LED strip creates more than beautiful light – it sets the tone to create memories that last a lifetime. LED technology allows this dynamic strip to produce a candle-like glow similar to traditional incandescent lighting with innovative versatility and peak performance. Choosing the right color temperature to create the perfect ambiance has never been easier. The dim-to warm LED strip is easily dimmable and controllable with TRIAC dimming (MLV and ELV), PWM dimming, DAILI dimming, and 0/1-10V dimming. As the lights dim, they automatically warm from 3000K to 1800K. The Dim-To-Warm strip offers the nostalgic comfort of incandescent lighting while utilizing modern technology that can be used in almost any space.

Features

  • Smoothly mimics the dimming curve of an incandescent lamp
  • 3000K at full brightness – dims down to 1800K
  • A very high LED density – 224 LEDs/m or 120LEDs/m – eliminating hotspots
  • Precise sizing – field-cuttable approximately every 62.5mm or 100mm
  • 3-Step MacAdam LED binning for uniformity in both color and intensity
  • Easy installation with 3M™ adhesive tape
  • 2oz. PCB thickness for optimal thermal management mitigates voltage drop as the run length increases

FAQ

Q: What is Dim-to-Warm?
A: Dim-to-Warm is a technology that lowers an LED’s color temperature when dimmed, allowing for smooth variations in warm white light (from 3000K to 1800K). This was designed to imitate the familiar, natural feeling of dimmed incandescent lighting, while delivering highly efficient lighting.

Q: How Does Dim-to-Warm Work?
A: The Dim-to-warm strip light has an internal control circuit which dims the 3000K LED chip first and later starts to control the current of the 1800K chip. The color temperature gets warmer when dimmed. Dim-to-Warm follows a dimming curve to simulate the dimming of an incandescent lamp. The technology allows standard dimmers to provide sophisticated control and smooth, natural dimming.

Q: What is the product warranty?
A: 5 years warranty.

Q: What is the maximum run length of the Dim-to-Warm LED strip before voltage drop?
A: The maximum continuous line of lighting in series is 5m. Longer connections are possible in parallel with the correct power unit.

Q: Can I cut the strips myself?
A: Yes, our LED strip lights are made to be cut to your desired length. Using sharp scissors, you can cut this strip at cut marks printed on the surface of the strip.
