What is a Dim to Warm LED Strip & Tunable White LED Strip?
What is the difference Between them?
People often get confused about this.
So, Today I want to talk about the difference between them.
Dim-to-Warm LED strips smoothly simulate the dimming curve of an incandescent lamp when dimming. At full brightness, the LED strip’s color temperature is 3000K. When lower the brightness is, the color temperature will close to 1800K.
By the way, Dim-to-Warm LED strips do not require an LED controller, just a dimmer or a dimming power supply.
For the Tunable white LED strip, the color temperature and brightness(lumen) can be changed by using an LED controller separately, but the brightness is not related to CCT.
Generally speaking, Dim-to-Warm LED strips only have 2 wires, but standard Tunable White LED strips have 3 wires.
But one thing, in particular, is that there are also 2-wire Tunable White LED strips, which can be narrower.
Warm white LEDs and cool white LEDs of 2-wire Tunable White LED strips have opposite electrodes.
